Slightly silly benchmarks

Have a slightly silly or tongue-in-cheek design in mind for a benchmark? No problem. We got our first request for such a design just the other day off-blog.

If you live in the Charleston, South Carolina area, you know it has a tendency to flood. Especially downtown during high-tide and a slight rain storm. So, we created the Flood Zone and 2 Feet Below Sea Level designs. Check out the flood zone design below.

Slight Design Changes Are Possible

Like one of our designs, but feel it's too big? No problem, we can redesign the shirt to fit your needs. Recently a friend off-blog requested the Mount Mitchell, NC benchmark be moved to the left-breast pocket area of a shirt. You can see the result here and the image below. So, feel free to request custom redesigns.

Looks Greek to me!

As we've said before, we do custom benchmark designs here at Topographically You. Do you live outside of the USA? Does your country not post benchmarks in English (or not just in English)? No problem! We can at least try to design a benchmark for you. Check out the Mount Olympus, Greece (Oros Olympos, Hellas) benchmark t-shirt that we created here (see image below). You'll note the Greek characters and that the USGS has been replaced with the Hellenic Military Geographical Service (Γεωγραφική Υπηρεσία Στρατού). Also, the benchmark  style has changed completely to fit the style used in Greece.
